Cedar Point Blue Streak Roller Coaster Detailed Model Laser Engraved & Cut

  

Highly detailed model of the Cedar Point Blue Streak roller coaster train and track. An American Classic that has endured through 58 years. This model pays tribute to that design.

This is a 3 row PTC train. Lap bars can be moved up and down. All parts were engraved and cut with a Boss 65W laser engraver. The train is made from 129 pieces of wood plus 8 wire'axles'. 21 of those make up the mosaic Blue Streak sign on the front.

The track is made from 11 pieces of wood plus 18 stainless steel truss head screws. End stop made from 4 pieces. The majority of the material is 6 different colors of finished 1/8 (2.84mm) birch plywood. Wheels, track ties a nd stop are 3/16 (4.62mm) Maple veneered MDF.

Felt strips on bottom of track. This is a unique item crafted with pride. The detail and degree of difficulty of this model is apparent. Every piece wiped down with alcohol to remove laser residue. Then assembled with Titebond III exterior grade wood glue. 11 pictures are of the actual items. Measurements are shown in the 11th photo. The 12th shows other versions.
